Be Flexible + Imperfections + Stay In-Tune + Communication
Be Flexible
Relationships are up and down. My favorite way to describe relationships is to compare them to the waves of the oceans—ebbs and flow—up and down is how relationships can be. There is not ever a year that goes by where two people in a relationship are 100% in sync. You have to work at it. You have to want it. You have to put in the effort. You have to communicate. You have to be flexible. You have to be willing to grow. You have to want IN.
Imperfection
If you are looking for the perfect relationship, you won’t find it. If you are looking for a person without flaws, you will never find them. If you are looking for a person that never makes mistakes, you’ll be on that search for the remainder of your life.
Perfect is unreachable. But I believe that is what makes healthy relationships so special. The imperfections, the mistakes, the flaws, those are what make the love grow deeper, if the two people who make up the relationship are both willing to learn and grow from all the imperfections.

Stay In-Tune + Communication
In order to be in-tune with your partner, you not only have to communicate, but you have to be a little less selfish and a little bit more aware (and not of just yourself). And then, you have to be willing to act on the intuitiveness to help keep a healthy sync between you and your partner #effort. There will always be good days and bad days and being there for your partner as the listening ear, the consoling friend, and the supportive fan are all necessary to ensure you keep the love strong between the two of you.
These are just a few tidbits on maintaining and growing healthy relationships.
