All of your thoughts don’t have to control your life
For most people, their thoughts are the drivers of their lives. You can easily understand this when you think of it this way:
How many times have you seen a person experiencing genuine happiness, and the next thing you know, they’re not because a thought floated into their mind that they don’t like very much. Now, they’re in a sour mood, and their whole day is ruined.
We do it, too, though.
The question is: How could we allow such a simple thought to control our lives so easily? Yet, we do this daily.
When we take a step back and digest how bizarre this is, we can start taking the reigns for our emotional and mental well-being. Thoughts are simply thoughts. We are the observers. Our thoughts do not have to dictate our emotions unless we allow them to; otherwise, they have no actual power over our lives. Remember, you are not your thoughts or the voice inside your head.
