The goal of a writer is to reach readers, right?
So write, and reach readers.
If your stats are low, write more and write better.
Stats consistently fluctuate independent of algorithms.
Don’t complain about algorithms messing with your pockets; always maintain multiple income streams.
The best thing you can do as a writer is to continue hitting “publish” so you succeed independently of such a simple thing as an algorithm.
I never concern myself with such things as algorithms.
I just write.
Complain less, and be a more productive writer.
There is only one way to win in the writing game, consistently write. If you do this enough, what you’re seeking will eventually come and find you.
