Implement the crockpot method
Why do people do this?
People open up to randos they barely know because they crave intimacy. They want to rush through the “getting-to-know-you” phase when they need to practice patience and focus on building slowly.
My father calls it the crock-pot method. Take your time in getting to know people. At some point, it will be revealed whether or not you can open up to them. Don’t rush the getting-to-know-you process – even when the connection is instant. Everything doesn’t need to be told right away.
