Build all-around strength and decrease aging
Women tend to skip some critical exercises. On top of the routinely skipped exercises, I always see women working out their glutes without fail.
The next thing women work out most is their legs. Nothing is wrong with this practice, but if you only work out these muscle groups and areas, you’re skipping out on other vital areas that produce a well-rounded strength and physique.
After legs, it’s probably abs.
So as a whole, women tend to do the following workouts most frequently:
Cardio
Yoga
Pilates
Glutes
Legs
Abs
All of these workouts are healthy for the body, and it’s always better to do something than nothing, but to ensure a more holistic approach, you should always prioritize weight lifting.
And for your weight lifting regimen, you must remember your upper body!
Where Is Your Upper Body?
I rarely come across a woman that is built up top. And when I see a woman who works out her upper body efficiently, she always stands out; I almost look at them as a celebrity because women don’t tend to work out their upper bodies for some reason.
It is a mystery why women focus on their legs more than their upper body outside of the most logical reasoning (illogical): it’s more attractive to have a lower body than a built upper body.
But why not have both?
The average woman struggles to do pullups, pushups, or bench presses; these exercises all require upper-body strength.
As A Female, Upper Body Strength Is An Asset
There are several positives to maintaining upper body strength as a female:
You are more self-reliant and can lift and move heavier things.
You are much more likely to be able to defend yourself better.
You slow down the aging process by having more muscle.
You have a more balanced physique, which is also attractive if you’re into that.
You put less strain on your lower body when you have both upper and lower body strength.

Use Men As An Example Of How To Workout
Men aren’t the only experts at weightlifting, but many know what they’re doing because they tend to have more muscle mass than women.
Though it does help to have a bit more testosterone than women, that does not imply you can’t put on muscle mass. I’m a female and focus primarily on increasing my muscle mass.
Whatever exercises you see the men doing, challenge yourself to do the same.
Take it an extra step and work out in the gym areas dominated by men; these areas tend to be where the best weightlifting workouts in the gym occur. Plus, there’s nothing like using stronger people as motivation to be stronger yourself.
The benefits are astronomical
