Today, one of my dear friends lost their job. After dedicating years of their time, thoughts, stress, and efforts to the company, they were simply “let go”. Even worst is their reason for letting them go was “poor performance”,?when that is nothing but far from the truth.
How often do we invest so much of our lives and time into companies without ever receiving much back?
We spend hours in traffic. We stress over all the meaningless projects we have outstanding deadlines for.

Stop being so dependent on a job that could disappear within minutes, and never let yourself be so desperate for a paycheck you lose self-respect in the process.
