Here’s A Tacky Suggestion
A tacky hack that can alleviate this issue includes the following suggestion:
Use two shower caps at the bottom of your flower and plant pots, or cover the bottom of the pan/pot with shower caps.
Not only will this prevent the water from leaking, but you will be able to water your plants quickly without the water leaking everywhere (finally!).
You can also learn how dry your plants are by seeing what water goes into the shower caps, which is why you should consider using clear shower caps if you want to monitor how thirsty your plants are.
