Most people have plenty of knowledge but never apply it; They might as well have never learned it in the first place.
They don’t truly know anything because when you know something, you apply it to your life. You don’t sit on invaluable knowledge and make the same mistakes as someone who doesn’t have access to the knowledge.
Before you say you know something (let’s take personal development for this example), ask yourself if you’re applying the principles and philosophies in your life.
Often we’re not applying our knowledge because we haven’t fully digested the power of the knowledge or don’t know how to implement the knowledge.
To know, but not to do = Not to know.
If you desire to improve an area of your life, seek the knowledge and then apply the knowledge.
The only way to genuinely learn a concept is through the application.
