No matter how painful a situation is, there is always a takeaway
You might not see it at first, but there is beauty and opportunity somewhere in your pain.
Maybe you lost someone forever as I did. Maybe you had a bad breakup. Maybe you lost income. Maybe you got in a horrific car crash. Maybe you lost mobility. Maybe you lost a friendship. Maybe you had a mental health breakdown. Maybe you were betrayed. Maybe you were taken for granted. Maybe you lost an opportunity. Maybe you lost yourself. Maybe you lost your happiness. Maybe you lost your drive. Maybe you lost your zest for life.
Whatever tragedy you experienced this past year, I challenge you to find the opportunity in it because no matter how painful a situation is, there is always something to take away from it.
I sit here in gratitude because I know and believe with all my heart that all is well and will be well. Something good must come from all of the tragedy; it must and already has.
