Treat meals often include processed foods and sugar; there is nothing wrong with these things in modest amounts. However, they can slow your progress if you’re working towards a health goal.
Short-term discipline is extremely painful, but long-term discipline feels good as f*ck.
Let’s say you’re trying to lose weight.
Treat meals throughout the week will likely only slow your progress. Bottom line. Furthermore, the consistent treat meals will perpetuate cravings making it even more challenging to stay on track with your diet because once you diverge from your usual diet, it becomes harder to stay on it.
Once you stop one habit, you’re starting a new habit – whether that habit is beneficial or unbeneficial.
