My moment of enlightenment
My heart felt tears, but for an interesting reason: I realized how wrapped up in my own life I had become. I’m generous and giving, but I was inspired to take it a step further and focus more on others.
When we’re experiencing our own grief, trials, troubles, and disappointments, life becomes centered around “me, myself, and I.” We forget that others still exist with their own unique problems.
Hearing his story offered me a release. I knew at that point I had to start focusing on the lives of others more intentionally.
Giving, generosity, and being of service to others is what we were placed on this planet for; it will do us well to remember this at all times.
