How often do you ask yourself this question?
When was the last time you did something that brought happiness to your life?
When was the last time you had a hearty laugh? What or who makes you laugh?
When was the last time you smiled? What things or people make you smile?
We all could use more happiness, laughter, and smiles in our lives. Yet, we seem to forget this and shy away from the opportunities that will bring these light-hearted moments to our lives.
Life is good, but it can also bring much anxiety, stress, sadness, and low moments.
What does this mean for us? It means we should take advantage of every opportunity to feel the positive energy and good-feeling emotions.
We don’t need to ignore our negative feelings, but we don’t have to become paralyzed in them either.
Today, take a moment to care – with quality – for yourself, do something or engage with someone that makes you laugh, and go on an adventure, however big or small, that makes you happy because you deserve all the happiness, smiles, and laughter.
