Our habits define our futures. What habits are you letting slide on by?
When you continue doing something long enough, it becomes a habit. And if you’re not careful or present, you perform that habit on autopilot – without thinking twice about it; this can be especially dangerous with unproductive and nonbeneficial habits.
Example of Auto Pilot Habits: You eat out every day. You barely communicate with your spouse. You overspend your budget every month. You never save for retirement. You break down every time someone criticizes you. You always think you’re right. You never eat vegetables. You’re always late. You work late daily. You never check in on your relationships. You delay working on your goals after work each day. You’ve been overeating most days for months. You’ve been unhappy for the past seven years, but aren’t doing a damn thing about it.
What else might you do every day that you probably need to stop doing before it’s too late?
The universe always finds a way to give us plenty of opportunities to change our habits before it’s too late. Here is another sign [this article] that the universe is sending you in an effort to encourage you to change your auto-pilot habits today.
