When was the last time you felt alive, free of worry, free of sadness and depression, and free to be you? When was the last time you didn’t dread the day? When was the last time you were full of natural energy? When was the last time you didn’t let external circumstances negatively affect you?
When was the last time you did something out of your comfort zone that brought you to life? When was the last time you got out of your feelings long enough to realize you don’t have to sit with those feelings any longer?
We stay in predicaments because that is the path we choose.
To spring us out of confusion, depression, anxiety, fear, lack of achievement, and unfulfillment, we need to embrace self-awareness and take a break from our routines and usual surroundings. To spring us out of negative states, we need to engage in activities entirely different from who we are or who we have been.
When is the last time you embraced self-awareness and got out of your comfort zone?
