I’m Not Talking About Putting Money In An Account or Self-Care Either
Now, I’m not talking about investing or saving money into an account. I am also not talking about investing in self-care, though I encourage you to do both of these things—habitually—to live your best life.
I am referencing investing in yourself through books, webinars, workshops, podcasts, conferences, mentorships, and the like.
When is the last time you invested in yourself with any of these things?
My next question to you is, how often are you investing in yourself with these things?
It is consequential to remember to invest in our financial futures. It is also imperative that we invest in our self-care. But, if we don’t invest in exposing ourselves to new information and new ideas, next year, we will be in precisely the same place we are today.
Listen to an informational or motivational podcast today. Register and attend a free webinar. Pick up a book on a topic you’ve never read before, and learn something new.
If you’re getting value from this — sign up for my newsletter, a free daily 5 AM email. Discipline delivered before the sun comes up.
Lean into new ideas, new information, new ideologies, new concepts, new strategies, new adventures, and continuously invest in yourself.
Many of us decide after we finish school (at any and every level), we are good to go. We think, “I have all the information I need.” When we are bored, we stay bored instead of picking up a book or learning something new. Why? Because we have become complacent. We have become comfortable living in ignorance. We have become comfortable living off of old ideas and information.
To live a full life, we need to expose ourselves to new information regularly.
If you have been stuck in a rut, going in circles, not making any progress, not growing, not elevating your life, this is your sign that you need to start investing in yourself in other ways you may have never done before or ways you don’t do often.
