More often than not, we need outside help
Looking back, I wish I had sought out help sooner for some of the trauma I faced in my personal life. Not only did it affect every aspect of my personal life, but it also significantly affected my relationships.
I wouldn’t change a thing from my past, but going forward, I’m making a commitment to seek external help whenever big or small traumas enter my life. I don’t have to carry the weight of trauma on my shoulders alone, and neither do you. Seek help – whether it’s from friends, family, or professional help. Furthermore, surround yourself with people who will help you during trying times; these are keepers.
