But ideas are only valuable when written down.
People might frantically see me grab my phone and start typing, and it’s usually because I’m writing an idea down. Our brains can recall much information, but sometimes details and ideas still slip, so you should never trust yourself to remember an idea. Always write it down – even if you feel it’s a dumb idea, write it down. You never know what could come of a “simple” idea.
I barely use my brain on some writing days because I’ve written down so many ideas I can explore.
