Another lie we tell ourselves
Perfect circumstances seem to be the trick we believe to be necessary when we desire to increase productivity.
When things calm down in my family, I’ll be more productive. I’ll be more productive when I can get some time to myself. When things smooth over in my relationship, I’ll be more productive. When I finally get this big project at work out of the way, I’ll be more productive. When I finally take that vacation, I’ll be rested enough to be more productive.
What reasoning have you been telling yourself is necessary for you to increase your productivity?
I used to believe some of these excuses until I realized my productivity was up to me. It never matters what is going on around you or within you.
You can be as productive as you desire. The choice is up to you.
A crazy idea, but positive experience
