People without purpose are dead weight — cut them loose
Some people are so consumed with the lives of others that they forget to live their own. Ask them about their goals — silence. Ask them what they’re building — nothing. Ask them where they’re headed — blank stares. Ask them what they care about — a generic answer, or worse, nothing at all.
These people are coasting through life without aim, without purpose — something Napoleon Hill would go ballistic over, since his core message is simple: execute your definite purpose.
The next time you’re inspired by someone else.
The next time you see someone doing something cool.
The next time you hear about a breakthrough in technology.
The next time you hear about someone graduating with another degree.
The next time you hear about someone who found the love of their life.
The next time you’re watching people play out their stories on reality TV.
Check yourself: What are YOU doing with your own life?
It’s great to be inspired by others — if you take that spark and turn it into action. Otherwise? You’re just a spectator in your own life. And a life without aim, without goals, without purpose…is no life at all.
“So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing?” (Proverbs 6:9 MSG)
Here’s a truth: people who only talk about what everyone else is doing are walking red flags; what they’re telling you is:
I have nothing going on.
I have no goals of my own.
Other people’s lives are more important than mine.

Instead, seek people who:

Refuse to hide behind fear and practice consistent execution.
These are the people who not only work on creating a better version of themselves, but are determined to create a better world.
My motto is simple for the people I keep close to me: I don’t want to hear about them. I want to hear about you. What do you have going on? What do you think? What are your goals? Where are you headed? Do you have answers? And more importantly — are those answers filled with definite purpose and consistent execution?
People with no goals are people living in fear. People without execution are drowning in fear with paralysis. If you are scared to fail, if you are scared to lose, you will never go anywhere in life. BREAK out of the fear container holding your POTENTIAL (which is infinite) hostage.
The longer you prioritize the lives of others, the longer you put your own on hold.
So take a break from creeping on other people — and creep on your own progress instead. That’s the only feed worth refreshing.
Boom.
