Much of society underestimates the power of natural supplements in addition to natural remedies such as the following:
Walking
Sleep
Did you expect me to mention these two things?
Though simple in every way, they are powerful in healing and invigorating the mind and body.
Whether I was experiencing a breakdown, depression, anxiety, stress, or other similar mental health situations, I never once took to pharmaceuticals because we have everything we need outside of the toxic industry.
If anything, some natural herbs can be experimented with that are safer for the body to intake.
The Two Natural Drugs For Mental Health
Walking
Take a walk if you’re seeking inspiration, energy, happiness, serenity, and a clarified mind.
I take walks daily, and it’s one of the healthiest things I do for myself, which is part of my self-care routine.
Sleeping
There are times when I need to sleep more than others. Sometimes I have to sleep 12 hours and go to bed early. Other times, I can get away with sleeping 4–6 hours.
Listen to your body to learn what amount of sleep will be best for your holistic health (i.e., mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual).
Sleep has been stated to be the cure for everything. When you allow your body and mind to rest, repair, and be still, magical things can happen.
To ensure you get the best sleep, avoid these things:
Don’t sleep with the lights on. Sleep in a pitch-black room to keep your body focused in the sleep state.
Don’t sleep with the tv on. Not only are you infiltrating your mind with messages out of your control, but the television will make your sleep lighter, preventing you from entering REM or getting that deep sleep we all need to rest and repair fully.
Don’t sleep in overly warm temperatures. Our bodies tend to become warmer while we sleep. Sleeping in a relaxed environment will prevent overheating and sweating while our bodies are resting and repairing themselves.

Fight Depression
Sometimes we are overtired, overworked, overstressed, overstimulated, and drained.
Sleeping will provide the rest you need to rebalance your mind.
Walking
If you desire to release endorphins, walking is your best friend.
It’s hard to feel depressed when you move and use your body.
Gratitude
When you’re walking, focus on gratitude. Think of all the things you can be grateful for, such as:
Your ability to walk
Your ability to move
Your ability to think
You woke up today
The sun
The clouds
Your job or your upcoming job you believe for
Your relationships and family
Your pets
Your health or your upcoming improved health
There is never a shortage of things to be grateful for – even when you feel depressed and believe there aren’t.
