All of us are guilty of it
And for the time we do waste, it goes to things that are genuinely not adding value to our lives, such as scrolling the internet, watching tv/youtube or tik tok videos, spending time on social media, or hanging out with people who don’t care about us or add much value to our lives.
But if you’re not doing any of these things, you might find yourself focusing on low-value tasks that are not contributing to any consequential life goal.
We all have things in our lives that we want to focus on; for some of us, it’s our health, relationships, career, etc.
The reason we often don’t end up focusing much attention on these things is because we’re putting too much focus on the wrong things.
If you analyze how you leverage your time, you will probably find that you’re not utilizing it as effectively as you thought.
I recommend starting your first day of focused effort with your phone off.
You can improve your productivity rate and how intentionally you spend your day by just getting off the damn phone, which is a powerful time sucker.
