Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get the f*ck moving
The point is that we can’t always avoid making mistakes. So when we screw up, we have an obligation to learn from them, be resilient, buck up, and keep moving the f*ck forward.
As we continue learning, our mistakes will become less detrimental to where it won’t matter as much when we make them because they are minor. But the key is learning from them so that you can reach this point.
When you make a mistake:
Love yourself.
Forgive yourself.
Show yourself compassion.
Did I mention forgive yourself? Because you might have to do this multiple times.
It is often easier to show compassion to others more than ourselves. But you got to remember, you matter, too.
