As the summer comes to an end
I feel the air
I can feel the wind
The sounds of dogs
And their all night barking
The smell of pumpkins
The taste never leaving my lips
I love the fall
The fall of the leaves
I love the cold
How brisk it feels touching my skin
The summer is great
The heat so invigorating
But I need the fall
That’s the best time for recovery
