Before you deem someone worthy of your time, your love, your approval, and your support, know what they stand for, know what they believe in, know what they say when they think nobody is listening, know what their values are, know how they genuinely feel about you, and know what they feel and think about the people you love and care about.
Some of us unknowingly support people who do not like us, treat us with genuine respect, speak ill of us behind our backs, oppress us, and are not on our side. Sometimes we can miss this, but other times, the red flags are very present.
Know your friends, know your heroes, know your motivators, know your favorite celebrities, know your mentors, know the politicians you support, and know the people you praise.
