It’s actually not a big deal
productionNot every publication will accept your work.
Not every publication will accept your first draft, either.
Both of these scenarios should not make you feel bad about your writing.
The best thing you can do is dig into why your work wasn’t accepted (outside of it being irrelevant to the publication) or how you can improve it if your first (second or third) draft wasn’t accepted.
Teo of the best things you can do as a writer is to get comfortable with rejection and also get comfortable with critical or negative feedback from your readers.
Once you get past these two things, you will significantly increase your writing productivity and continually improve as a writer.
