Each day you GET the opportunity to elevate
How frequently are you investing time, money, effort, energy, and other resources in elevating your body, mind, and life?
Most people’s answer to this question will be, “Not often.”
We tend to stagnate.
And after graduating from school, we feel we are done learning. But this is when the learning takes on another path of its own, allowing us to dive further into deeper learning to master ourselves.
Consistent investment in yourself is pertinent if you genuinely desire to be successful, healthy, and experience a higher lifestyle.
If you’re not growing, you’re dying.
What is the one thing you did today or can do today to elevate and improve your life in some way?
Each day offers you another opportunity to grow.
How will you use today to grow?
“Oh, that sh*t is boring. I’m always working. I want to take a break!”
Reading, watching, and listening to educating and elevating material isn’t the most attractive option for most people. It’s easier to hop on social media, watch trash tv, take a nap, or do anything other than invest formal time in ourselves.
But the more breaks you take, the more you break down your chances for success and tap into your unlimited potential.
If you never ate food, what would happen? You would start to lose weight. Eventually you would starve your body for so long that you would start losing muscle mass, and then become nothing but a walking skeleton. Eventually death would find its way in. This is what happens when we don’t take care of our minds; they deteriorate.
A bodybuilder stays in the gym. They don’t consistently take breaks unless they want to start over.
Most of us have taken enough breaks for a lifetime. We could all use fewer breaks and more personal development sessions.
Inspirational Words
One of my favorite passages in The Great Book regards the ant. Do you ever notice how hard they work? They provide a perfect example of how we should conduct our lives and commit to personal development. The harder we work, the greater our success shall be.
Proverbs 6:6–11, New International Version
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest –
11 and poverty will come on you like a thief
and scarcity like an armed man.
The more you invest in yourself, the happier you will be. The more you invest in yourself, the sooner your dreams and goal will manifest.
