Force yourself to start, and don’t think about it.
When we struggle to get started on a new endeavor or goal, what we’re doing is over-analyzing the startup process – leading to paralysis.
I have often found myself in a similar position, and things continue to go undone for far too long.
To yank me out of it, I drop everything else and get started to accomplish one tiny action. Once I execute this tiny action, I only need to keep up one tiny action a day until I build massive momentum.
But to build this moment, first I must start. Until I get started, I remain in the same position.
