It’s too easy to be inundated with content platforms. Figure out which ones work best for you
The day that comes when people no longer read, I don’t know when that will be.
Inundation: many writers now experience this with increased access to platforms and methods that allow us to distribute our work easily.
Where do we start?
Who knows. But there is one thing for sure; specific platforms will be better for your audience versus others.
It might make sense for you to transition into making youtube videos and podcasts. For others, it might make sense to continue creating new content through traditional written word format.
If you’re uninterested in pursuing other content creation methods, ask yourself is it genuine disinterest, fear of getting out of your comfort zone, or lack of education.
Nevertheless, don’t allow FOMO to cause you to use a platform that you and your audience are utterly uninterested in.
Sometimes it’s good to try an option at least once. I’ve tried videos, podcasts, and traditional content creation. My favorite is the traditional writing format.
