The secret has long been EXPOSED
It’s no secret that most Americans live paycheck-to-paycheck.
And if anything, the situation is only worsening due to “faux” economic distress.
And I say “faux” because I firmly believe that we can make ourselves immune to economic fluctuations and disasters if we properly plan, educate our minds, and act differently than the average person.
The Obsession With THINGS Is Out Of Control
Americans are obsessed with luxuries, lifestyles, and materialistic items.
It’s why we have billions of dollars invested in advertisements that expose us to new technology, experiences, automobiles, clothes, shoes, bags, houseware, and you name it.
The media knows we can’t stop consuming since credit cards came into the mainstream market.
Now, we can buy anything we want, as long as we have a piece of plastic or a job that helps us pay the minimum payment on the plastic that we max out too often.
The Obsession Outweighs Our Desire To Save
We’re so obsessed with materialistic items that we can’t pay to save our lives (literally).
If we had a $500 health emergency, we’d have to charge our credit cards, ask a friend, take out a loan, or barter for a payment plan because we don’t plan.
Your Financial Dilemma Is A Choice
The worst truth about Americans living paycheck to paycheck is that it is all a choice.
We have the opportunity to change our financial habits, but most of us are unwilling to because we are stuck on our addiction to short-term pleasure (the killer of all worthy dreams and goals).
If we can step outside the short-term vision, we will see that to create our long-term reality, we will need to make a few temporary sacrifices now.
The sooner you can implement financial discipline, the sooner you can stop living paycheck to paycheck, build wealth, eradicate debt, and create financial freedom for yourself and the people you love and care about.
Make A New Decision Today And Change Your Habits
You can read this article and continue spending more than you earn, living off one income source, charging your life to a piece of plastic, overspending on things, and avoiding the one thing that will build wealth (investing), or you can make a new decision and move differently from this point.
The choice is up to you. It’s an easy choice, but few make the right one.
