How to maintain productivity when you’ve burned the candle
Writing is my passion, but it’s also the thing that cumulatively takes a toll on my mind when I don’t rest enough.
The best way to maintain high levels of writing productivity is to prioritize rest, relationships, and fun. If you only write, you will likely eventually burn the candle to oblivion.
How I Recover From Highly Productive Writing Months
A highly productive writing month usually equates to hundreds of published articles per month.
It feels great until I take a moment to breathe and realize I’m not okay because I didn’t pace myself.
So, here’s how I combat the burnout that ensues after these months:
Prioritize self-care
Remember the end goal
Don’t force me to write as much
Focus on publishing more short stories
If I don’t feel like writing, take a break, but write at least a little
