It’s a two-way street: you matter just as much as the employer
It’s not just about meeting the company’s needs.
It’s critical that you find a place that will support, respect, and add value to your life as well.
Often, one could feel desperate to accept any opportunity that comes their way, compromising their values.
Don’t compromise your values for work.
Too many people do this and waste time, increasing their anxiety and experiencing an empty life.
During an interview, ask questions about the team, the culture, the company, the role, the interviewer, churn/turnover, and anything else that genuinely matters to you.
The ball is in your court.
The playing field is always even.
Never hand the employer all the control.
