Be yourself: companies that accept you are the best ones
This is problematic thinking.
You shouldn’t feel the need to remove your culture to land a role.
Make people pronounce your name – even if it takes a few times to get it.
The best companies don’t just say, “Come as you are.”
They mean it, live it, breathe it, and execute it.
Always ensure the company you’re choosing to interview with makes you feel comfortable. It’s a two-way street. Remember, you’re interviewing them as well. Don’t allow companies to dehumanize or diminish your culture because you’re desperate for a job. If it comes down to economics, find another way to make ends meet.
