Reflect, grow, and move forward or discard
Many people opt to internalize criticism; if you’re not careful, others’ words will begin to suffocate, frustrate, humiliate, define, or shame you.
It can be difficult to accept feedback or criticism as just that, but it’s only words.
Piece of advice: When someone gives you a piece of criticism, try SUPER hard to find the truth in it.
If you can’t find any truth, reflect on their statement for 24 hours or more, and seek the piece that can help you grow.
There will be times when others’ feedback is more about themselves than you; become able to decipher these moments, too.
