There’s always something new that can give writers a bad case of FOMO; I’ve experienced this so much that I’ve gotten paralyzed and stopped using specific platforms altogether because I’ve become overwhelmed.
What platform(s) bring in the most revenue, engagement, and awareness for your writing? The answer to this question tells you where you should focus most of your time and efforts.
Still invest in them, but spend less time on experimental sites and platforms. It’s critical to focus more of your energy on your bread and butter to continue increasing the fruits of your labor on your primary platform.
