Each day, take a moment to be still, quiet, and present within your own company.
Then think about the following questions:
Is there anything keeping me away from the present moment?
Is there anything in which I feel anxious or negative about?
What do I feel when I’m alone in the quiet?
What is my most predominant emotion?
Who do I think about when I am alone?
What thoughts are coming to mind?
How does my body feel right now?
Answers these questions thoughtfully and honestly. Continue to ask yourself these questions as you take moments to be still in solitude.
