Unhappiness is not being in harmony with your life. And this is the everyday experience for many.
Why are so many people unhappy?
I think a part of the reason is that we are always saying “yes” to people, responsibilities, and things we mean to say “no” to.
Every time you do something you don’t want to do, every time you say “yes” when you mean no, every time you go to work at a place you hate, dislike, or feel apathetic about, every day you invest more time and energy into relationships that create havoc or bring distress in your life, and every time you make decisions you don’t want to make, you create more unhappiness for yourself.

When you take a 360-degree view of your life — including looking back on your life — what are the sources of your unhappiness? What has brought on the negative feelings you might be dealing with today?
