It’s simply more cost-effective in the long run
The average person over 30 has gum disease or is on their way to acquiring it.
Dental insurance is one of the less costly insurances (the other being vision), so it is relatively economically affordable to maintain dental insurance and get cleanings 3–4 times a year without it negatively impacting your bank account.
The cost of dental repairs in the long run can be significantly decreased if you do your regular cleanings at home (i.e., brush, floss, tongue scrape), and then get additional cleanings outside of the recommended six months.
Just a thought.
It’s all about short-term versus long-term goals
