You plateau when you reject criticism
I watched a show last night that reminded me of the importance of receptivity when it comes to feedback.
The woman said, “If you feel you’ve already reached the top, we won’t be able to work together because we won’t be able to grow together, and you will plateau.”
People receptive to feedback and criticism are the ones who experience the most growth. The ones who reject all of these things stagnate and do not tap into their full potential.
The next time you think about rejecting or ignoring someone’s feedback, try to see their point of view. Maybe you will learn something and grow.
