The more you enjoy the journey, the more you enjoy the process of achieving your goals
The same benefit applies to rewards. How often do you reward yourself for completing a goal? Most people don’t, and if they do, it’s with food or drinking; it’s not the worst reward in the world, but there are plenty of other rewards you can offer yourself.
If you’re putting in effort daily, staying committed to the steps, and getting closer to the finish line, reward yourself. What does celebration look and feel like for you? You don’t have to wait until you reach the finish line to be kind to yourself and throw a party. Have mini celebrations along the way so that you can enjoy the journey. The more you enjoy the journey, the more committed you will stay.
