“No” means you’re one step closer to “yes”
Rejection is healthy. It helps you grow. It refines you. It makes you stronger. It helps you reach a better destination.
Whenever people consult with me trying to get a new job, they frequently complain about getting a lot of rejection emails and calls. I remind them that’s a good sign; that means they’re steps closer to getting that offer.
If you never experience rejection, you won’t appreciate the win as much.
Don’t take rejection personally; it never is.
The sooner you get comfortable with rejection, mistakes, and failure, the more powerful you become.
Key Message: Become comfortable with rejection, and remember that rejection is a sign that you’re a step closer to reaching your intended destination.
