It’s not for everyone
There is a tendency to use so many products during facials, which deviates from your usual skin product regimen, which can produce negative effects on the skin.
After a while, each facial led to broken skin. I was done. Enough was enough. The trouble wasn’t worth it anymore.
However, I also realized they weren’t necessary.
The most critical piece of maintaining healthy skin comes through the following habits:
Maintaining a healthy diet.
Drinking plenty of water.
Using soft water on your face.
Using fewer skin products; less is more.
Consuming copious amounts of leafy green vegetables.
Keep your sugar, processed foods, and carb intake low.
Dry and wet sauna sessions.
All of these have helped me maintain healthier and glowing skin.
I know some people that use few skin products and swear by facials.
Everyone has different skin, so you must do what works for you, but facials aren’t essential to healthy skin.
