Of course, not everyone has the same schedule, but many people do not work on the weekends.
If this is the case for you [or even if it is not the case for you], I want to throw an idea at all of you who try to knock out the rest of your responsibilities on the weekend:
Don’t do chores on the weekend.
If you’re getting value from this — sign up for my newsletter, a free daily 5 AM email. Discipline delivered before the sun comes up.
Instead, break the chores into micro-tasks throughout the week or choose one weekday to complete them all. In this way, you can focus on other things like hobbies, side gigs, relationships, family, etc.
We all need a break at some point, and if we are always going, this is a sure way to lead ourselves into burnout.
Stop cleaning on the weekends, and give yourself a break! Weekends offer you a short stent at a mini-vacation or stay-cation [both of which can be equally rejuvenating].
